A free movie and TV discovery site, online since July 2026, built around the one problem more streaming never solved: deciding what to watch.
Most evenings do not end because there is nothing to watch. They end because there is too much of it, and none of it is sorted in a way that helps. You open one service, scroll a wall of covers, open a second, recognise the same films in a different order, and forty minutes later you put on something you have already seen twice.
We got tired of that particular loop. The search had quietly become the evening.
The tools meant to fix it are built to keep you inside one catalogue, so they recommend whatever a service is paying for this month rather than what you would actually enjoy. And the sites that rank films exist to sell you something else — you land on a list, fight through three pop-ups, and still cannot tell whether anyone involved has seen the films they put in order.
MovieAI is our attempt at the other thing. Ask for what you are in the mood for in ordinary words. Get a straight answer with a trailer attached, so you can judge in ninety seconds instead of committing two hours. Say what you liked and what you did not, and the suggestions get sharper. Nothing sits behind a subscription or a paywall — every part of the site below is free, and the parts that ask for an account ask only so your lists survive closing the tab.
Underneath all of it sits the catalogue itself — films, series, anime and cartoons, with cast, crew, trailers, ratings and full filmographies for everyone who worked on them:
MovieAI is a small independent project rather than a company — no investors, no office, no content department. It is built and kept running by people who watch a great deal of film and wanted this tool to exist. That means it improves roughly in the order things annoy us, and that a message from you carries more weight here than it would anywhere larger.
Found something broken, disagree with a ranking, or want a feature? Write to support@movie-ai.online or use the contact page. We read all of it.
Film and series information, artwork and trailers come from TMDB. The rankings, the editorial guides and everything written on this site are ours; where a list is assembled automatically we say so on the page itself, along with where it is likely to be weakest.
